  • That is completely and totally up to you! My personal preference, if I have to wear a pad (I’m more of a tampon gal), is the kind with wings. Only because I play a lot of sports and like the added “support,” I guess you’d call it, of pads with wings.

  • Pads, tampons, wings, no wings … it's all just a matter of personal preference. It's best to try some of the different options and find out what works best for you. Personally, I prefer pads with wings. I think the wings help secure the pads in place and I know they've definitely prevented a few “mishaps” for me in the past.

  • That mainly depends on your preference. My preference is with wings, but some of my girlfriends would say never. Wings offer you more protection for your underwear and to prevent side leaks. The wings keep the pad in place from dipping in the center. Pads without wings might be less visible in case someone sees your underwear. Pads without wings are also easier to put on – only one strip to peel off the back then place in your underwear. It really depends on what you are looking for and what you find most comfortable.
